The location of Cemara Indah Hotel is fantastic, right on the rim of the Sea of Sand with stunning views of Mount Bromo. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is pretty run down and my room was not very clean. The dining options were decent but the breakfast could be better. Overall, while the scenery is amazing, I found the hotel lacking in basic maintenance.

My room was pretty old and had a filthy toilet bowl. The bedsheet and blanket had stains, and the lighting was dim due to a blown bulb. It's a bit cramped with just one small table occupied by a kettle and cups.
